International Cooperation Working Group

Email address: office@fondromania.org

The group was founded at the General Assembly in March 2007, where it was established that  FOND will work through the 3 working groups: Moldova – Georgia,  Development Education, Round table collaboration with MAE. In 2010 the General Assembly decided to change the name of the group in International Cooperation, in order to cover a broader area and also the FOND members interests.

The Black Sea NGO Forum is the initiative of this Group and aims at increasing the level of dialogue and cooperation among NGOs in the wider Black Sea region, as a mean of strengthening NGOs and their capacity to influence regional and national policies.

Moldova-Georgia Working Group has participated on two international events.

a. ‘Funding for Development and Relief’ - CONCORD working group: 2 meetings (september – october 2007 ) –  find more information on the website of CONCORD.

b. European Development Days – november 2007 – Lisabona ; the event was organized by the European Commisson;  with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the FOND members contributed to organize the stand of Romania; more info about the event: http://www.eudevdays.eu
